UCF Participated in BIS Ghaziabad’s Manak Manthan Programme on Electrical Safety Standards

Utprarit Consumer Foundation (UCF) was honoured to participate in the Manak Manthan programme organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ghaziabad Branch Office. The programme focused on IS 4648:2025 – Guide for Electrical Layout in Residential Buildings and brought together industry representatives, electrical engineers, builders, consultants, and other stakeholders to promote awareness of safe and standardised electrical practices.

The programme featured insightful technical sessions on the planning, design, installation, and safety requirements of residential electrical systems in accordance with IS 4648:2025. Experts also shared practical guidance on the implementation of the standard and highlighted the importance of compliance in enhancing electrical safety, preventing fire hazards, and improving the reliability of residential infrastructure.

An interactive Manak Manthan session enabled participants to engage with experts, exchange practical experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of the latest standard and its real-world application.

UCF extends its sincere gratitude to the BIS Ghaziabad Branch Office for inviting us to be a part of this valuable initiative. We appreciate the efforts of the entire BIS team in creating a platform that fosters knowledge sharing, stakeholder collaboration, and greater awareness of Indian Standards.

As an organisation committed to consumer protection, product quality, and public safety, UCF looks forward to supporting and participating in more such initiatives that promote quality, standardisation, and consumer awareness across the country.
